This policy describes how Daily Updates Journal (“the Journal”), a property of Daily Updates LLC, handles information in connection with DailyUpdatesJournal.com. It is written to reflect how the site currently works. Where practices may change, we say so.
Information you provide
The site does not currently offer accounts, comments or online forms that submit personal information. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address and the contents of your message. We use it to read and respond to your message and, where relevant, to review a correction or other request.
Technical information collected automatically
When you visit the site, technical information is processed by the systems that deliver it. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time of a request. This information is commonly recorded by hosting and content-delivery providers and is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, provided by its hosting platform, to understand aggregate usage such as page views, referring sites and general device categories. We use this information to understand which coverage readers find useful and to improve the site, not to identify individual readers.
Forms
The newsletter sign-up module shown on the site is not yet active and does not collect or transmit information. If we launch a newsletter or other forms, we will describe what is collected and how it is used at the point of collection.

We rely on third-party service providers, such as hosting and email services, to operate the Journal. These providers may process information on our behalf in order to provide their services.
Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a publication of this kind, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including responding to correspondence, keeping records of corrections and meeting legal obligations. Retention of technical logs is generally determined by our service providers.
Your choices
You can choose not to email us, or limit what you include. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and similar technologies, and browser settings or extensions can limit analytics.
U.S. privacy rights
Depending on where you live, state law may give you rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of information about you, and to opt out of certain uses. The site does not currently include features designed to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children’s privacy
The Journal is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
